The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides that any person has the right to request access to federal agency records or information. Like all federal agencies, Job Corps and the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) are required under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to disclose records requested in writing by any person. However, agencies may withhold information pursuant to nine exemptions and three exclusions contained in the statute. The FOIA applies only to federal agencies and does not create a right of access to records held by Congress, the courts, or by state or local government agencies.
If you wish to make an FOIA request to Job Corps, please send an email to [email protected]. Please use the link below if you are unsure of how to make an FOIA request. We encourage the public to explore the Job Corps Web site or use the DOL search engine to see if the information you seek is already available to the public via the Web.
